2. What personal data do I process, and why?

I process personal data mainly to respond to enquiries, manage client relationships and assignments, and operate my business.

The data processed may include:

•  name, company or organisation, and job title;

•  email address and telephone number;

•  contents of enquiries and client correspondence;

•  information relating to proposals, contracts, projects and invoicing; and

•  technical data generated through use of the website, such as IP addresses, browser and device information, and cookie-related data.

Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis for processing is taking steps to enter into or performing a contract, a legitimate interest in managing client and business relationships, or the individual’s consent.

3. Where does the data come from?

Personal data is obtained primarily from the individuals concerned, for example by email, telephone, during meetings or through other communications.

The website may also automatically generate technical data in connection with its operation, security and any website analytics.

4. Service providers and disclosure of data

I use external service providers in my business, including Wix for website hosting and Microsoft 365 for email and file management. These providers may process personal data in order to deliver their services.

Personal data is not sold to third parties. It may be disclosed only where necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations or for another justified reason.

Service providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, safeguards required by applicable data protection legislation are used.

5. Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are kept only for the period necessary. Client and assignment information is retained for the duration of the client relationship and any necessary follow-up activities. Accounting records and other information subject to statutory retention obligations are retained for the periods required by law.

Frauruokamo.fi is built on the Wix platform. The website uses cookies necessary for its operation and security. Wix may also use cookies to monitor website functionality and performance.

If cookies are used for analytics or other non-essential purposes, consent is requested where required. In Wix, non-essential analytics cookies can be linked to users’ cookie preferences.
